Who we are
Based in Poughkeepsie, NY, From Ghetto to Greatness INC. strives to create a new heart and mindset in our young adults. Focused on the Hudson Valley area of the state of New York, our goal is to teach young adults that despite their environment and upbringing they can achieve greatness in any endeavor in life. Our belief is that greatness can best be achieved through education, whether it is via the traditional route of achieving higher education, or through non-traditional means, such as self empowerment through self-employment. Our Scholarships are for students that resident in the Hudson Valley.
What we offer
Student/Mentor Conference
Scholars take part in college preparedness seminars and are given the opportunity to be introduced to various career paths.
Back-to-School Prayer Breakfast
Scholars are covered in prayer and blessed with a word from our keynote speakers before heading of to their respective schools.
Scholarship Opportunities
Students receive a scholarship to help them reach your educational goals and can be applied to any education-related costs. Scholars must reside in the Hudson Valley area to be eligible, however, they may attend any accredited college/university or trade school.
From Ghetto to Greatness INC. offers mentorship opportunities, as well as, scholarship opportunities for local students. We encourage student to utilize our student/ mentor conferences and prayer breakfast, which allows them to network with individuals from different career backgrounds. We encourage in-person participation.
